YouCut: Have You Voted On Your Favorite Spending Cuts This Week?

Tired of the run away spending in Washington? Concerned we are spending ourselves off a cliff? Me too, that’s why I feature this regular installment on YouCut, an interactive way for YOU the taxpayer to get involved in the budget process. YouCut allows you, the citizen, to cast an online vote to let your voice be heard by stopping the runaway spending in Washington.
You can read all my previous YouCut posts here.
This is the latest from Rep. Eric Cantor:
The next three items are up on the YouCut website - click here and take a moment to vote on which item we should bring up for a vote on the House Floor. Each week, your involvement in the YouCut program is a reminder to Washington that we need to get federal spending under control.
Our country is at a crossroads – before us, is a choice about who we want to be. I believe that it is the creative spirit that has made America the crucible of innovation – the place where things are invented that change the world. Americans start businesses, come up with ideas, and pursue those ideas even though we know we might fail in the process. America is built on this culture of opportunity, where people assume responsibility and earn success. The American People can out-innovate and out-compete any country in the world, if given a fair shot to chart their our course.
Together, we need to remind Washington that this entrepreneurial spirit is the strength of our people, and the engine that drives prosperity forward.
Regards,
Rep. Eric Cantor
Majority Leader
