BE SURE to DOUBLECHECK your ballot before casting it. You always get a chance to review your ballot before submitting, so you need to make sure that the candidate you intend to vote for is the one marked for your vote.
Today, in New Hanover county, there were multiple cases of a problem with the screen calibration on some voting machines. When a voter touched the screen for Pantano, it would mistakenly check the box above (McIntyre's). It happened in other races down ticket too, because the Republican candidate is second on the ballot and the touchscreen would mistakenly record the vote in the box above where you touched. The machines in New Hanover were re-calibrated and we hope that solved the problem. There was an emergency meeting of the Elections Board and we're optimistic that most of the errors were caught. (This is because our voters are astute and careful and caught the errors early.)

Awfully ironinc. Defaults to McIntyre. Wonder how many of these votes didn't get caught and without a paper ballot there is no proof of voter intention to argue with. What is wrong with a paper ballot you fill in with an ink pen? Still works pretty well everywhere else.....as long as they are not "lost" before the count.

I voted today at the Cape Fear Museum and had no problems at all. I went back and double-checked and all my checks were in the right place....... Go Ilario....
I think it is a trial run for the election. All the dems will have to do is reset the machines that were caught and BINGO! INSTANT DEMOCRAT LANDSLIDE!!! And if the machines are reset afterwards there will be NO WAY TO PROVE FRAUD!

I have always been very wary of the vote being counted properly, fairly. So many games can be played with the vote. When you have a huge bunch of people who believe the means justifies the end, that the rules can be broken to achieve your goal, then you are up against serious corruption of mind and spirit. The truth is, they are weak, and weak-minded, and the other side that allowed the wead-minded to gain access, we were just plain apathetic. Not this time around. Like the black fellow above, I look forward to more and more black people waking up to the reality, the truth of Plantation Politics, the fact that they want to put us all on one big American Plantation, and to a large extent we already are. Debt is slavery. End the Fed.

This is always my biggest fear. The liberal always cheat on elections because they cannot take losing their agenda! We must stop this cheating! In cook county, which is where the majority of Chicago lies within, they always find 100,000 votes that are no good or are for left but were fake votes. It sickens me how the left is just like communists. They cannot take the heat so they cheat.
In addition- there are two candidates running on the " TEA PARTY" lable.--- THey are really PLANTS FROM THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!

Why isn't the the early voting halted immediately until this is definitely corrected! Sounds like voter fraud to me - hope an investigation will be done if the voting is not stopped NOW! There is no reason why voting has to take place 3 weeks early - our IL military men & women won't even be able to vote because the ballots weren't sent out in time. Stop the games - fix the problem, and THEN allow voting to continue. This is serious!

The Oklahoma machines are pretty foolproof. You mark your ballot with a pen and feed it into a machine that sucks it in like a bill changer. Why aren't they more common?

This just goes to show why a paper ballot with optical scan is the safest way to electronically vote. There is "always" a paper trail.
Democrats have to cheat, there is absolutely no way they could win otherwise except in a totally minority district.
We have total vote by mail here in Oregon and a Secretary of State who Absolutely refuses to purge the voter rolls. This is absolutely vital for any election to have an outcome even close to being honest. The same Democrat Secretary of State says that illegals are welcome to vote in our state and local elections but not in the National elections..........oh sure, nod, nod, wink, wink! My ballot has not arrived yet and should have been in my post office box a few days ago (ditto my husband's ballot). I wonder how many people who have their ballots delivered to a home (unsecured) mailbox have them stolen, it's been a problem in the past. There are way too many ways to "game" the vote by mail system..........I hate it!!!
Does anyone believe this will be an isolated incident? There will be massive voter fraud countrywide as the desperate liberals rig machines, SEIU thugs intimidate voters with impunity, New Black Panthers wield their batons, and thousands of cadavers rise from the grave to cast their Democrat votes. Be very vigilant. Be very afraid.
