Endorsing Pantano's congressional candidacy in 2010 were:
Former Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor Sarah Palin: Since serving as the Republican nominee for Vice President in 2008 Governor Palin has become one of the foremost leaders of the Conservative movement and the Republican Party. Palin has taken a very active role in this year’s elections endorsing candidates across the country who share her commitment to Conservative values and her dedication to taking our country back. Her endorsement has become one of the most sought after endorsements of this election season, and candidates endorsed by Palin have experienced great electoral success.
Americans For Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) “is a national organization comprised of citizens of every race, party, and walk of life who represent the 80% of Americans who oppose illegal immigration and amnesty as evidenced in most recent polls. Founded on 9/11/2004, ALIPAC has quickly grown to become the third largest national organization addressing these issues.” In addition to endorsing Pantano, ALIPAC also added him to its list of 18 targeted races they are asking their activists to focus their efforts on as Election Day nears.
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) represents the interest of merit shop contractors and its employees in the protection and enhancement of the free enterprise system within the construction industry. ABC contractors believe strongly in their right to manage their companies and job sites free of coercion and artificial restraints. Further, they believe workers should be hired and paid on the basis of individual merit, that contracts should be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and that the continuation of craft and safety training is the life blood of their industry.
Upon endorsing Pantano, Doug Carlson, ABC President and CEO made the following statement: “The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC) is proud to support leaders who support Free Enterprise and the Merit Shop Philosophy. Ilario Pantano supports small businesses and believes in getting government out of the way to let entrepreneurs and small business thrive to create jobs.
Veterans In Defense Of Liberty (ViDoL-AC): At their October meeting Veterans In Defense of Liberty Action Committee voted, unanimously, to endorse Ilario Pantano in his bid for N.C.-07 Dist. U.S. Congressman. The vote of acclamation was taken recalling the words of Thomas Jefferson who said, “One man with courage is a majority.”
Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA): On the heels of Ilario Pantano's press conference concerning coastal conservation, he learned that he earned the endorsement of North Carolina's Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA). The RFA is a national 501(c)(4) non-profit grassroots political action organization whose mission is to safeguard the rights of salt water anglers, protect marine, boat, and tackle industry jobs, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our nation's marine fisheries.

Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) is the organizer of the Rally of Remembrance at Ground Zero on 9/11, 2010. She had this to say about Ilario's involvement: "Looking around at the smoldering ruins of the political landscape of this once-great nation, it is critical that we choose great Americans who are capable of taking back this great republic, cleaning out the rot and restoring America. Ilario Pantano is that. I love him. He is the right man at the right time. Unafraid, clear and principled. Good men running for government do exist."
Herman Cain, and "The Hermanator PAC", is a graduate of Morehouse College, a proven business leader, a talented author and motivational speaker, and host of his own radio show. Cain is the former CEO, Chairman, and President of Godfather’s Pizza, and a former President and CEO of the National Restaurant Association. Currently, Herman serves as the President and CEO of THE New Voice, Inc., a leadership consulting company he founded. He is the author of four books, host of “The Herman Cain Show,” and a Fox News Business Commentator. Herman started “The Hermanator” PAC to help ensure that Conservatives take control of Congress after 2010 elections and to “slow, if not stop, the tax and spend policies of the current congress, led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.”
Carl V. Venters, a broadcast legend, is prominent in NC local business and public affairs. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and served four years as a Marine Corps officer. After leaving the Marines, Venters went to work in television and then later bought his first radio station. From there he managed and owned radio and televisions stations in North and South Carolina. In addition to serving on the UNC-TV Board of Trustees, he is a member of the board of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication Foundation of North Carolina and chairman of the North Carolina State Emergency Communications Committee.
Jack Barnes, USN (Ret.). Barnes is the president of America Supports You Texas, a non-profit organization that promotes public awareness and support for our U.S. military service members and veterans, as well as their families, across Texas and the entire nation. They also provide Military Family Support, by assisting currently deployed military personnel and their families with financial assistance to meet the emergency needs that arise from deployments.
Medal of Honor recipient, Major General James Livingston, USMC (Retired). Livingston was awarded the Medal of Honor on May 14, 1970, by President Richard Nixon. He retired from the Marine Corps as a major general in 1995. After retirement, he served as chairman of the board of the National D-Day Museum. Currently, he is a trustee and board member of that museum.
